Role & responsibilities Prepare detailed financial models for solar and renewable energy projects (CAPEX based). Structure project financing including equity, debt, and hybrid instruments. Liaise with banks, NBFCs, investors, and financial institutions for debt/equity funding. Conduct financial due diligence and risk analysis on project viability. Support business development team with bid support, cost assumptions, and tariff modeling. Monitor project cash flows, IRR, DSCR, NPV, and other financial performance metrics. Prepare investor presentations, project teasers, and information memorandums (IMs). Assist in negotiating and finalizing term sheets, loan agreements, and security documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory norms, including taxation, FEMA, and RBI guidelines. Collaborate with technical, legal, and execution teams to ensure alignment of financial strategy with project execution. Preferred candidate profile Graduate with CFA (Completed/Pursuing) 3-5 years of relevant experience in project finance, ideally within the solar/renewables or infrastructure domain. Proven experience in financial modeling, fundraising, and investor management. Deep understanding of power purchase agreements (PPAs), open access models, net metering, and government schemes. Strong understanding of risk assessment, financial covenants, and term sheet structuring. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
