Our focus on driving change and creating shared success underscores our commitment to excellence. Your role as a Power System Engineer is critical to the planning, development, and operation of electrical power systems. You will be responsible for designing and analyzing power generation, transmission, and distribution systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with safety standards. Additionally, troubleshooting issues, conducting system analysis, and optimizing the performance of electrical grids will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Your expertise in investment project management and control related to grid assets will play a pivotal role in facilitating the energy transition towards low carbon solutions. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (with a focus on Power Systems) or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory. Ideally, you should have 1 to 3 years of experience in power systems engineering or a related domain. Proficiency in grid stability, protection, and control systems is essential, along with a strong understanding of electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution. Your skills in power system modeling, simulation, and analysis will be crucial, along with knowledge of electrical protection systems and control strategies. Experience with industry-standard software tools, renewable energy integration, smart grid technologies, and energy storage solutions will be advantageous. Effective communication and the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders are also important. Your primary responsibilities will include designing electrical power systems encompassing generation, transmission, and distribution networks. You will develop and optimize grid layouts and configurations to ensure system reliability and efficiency while adhering to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines. Conducting load flow analysis, fault analysis, stability studies, and protection coordination will be part of your role, along with evaluating system performance under various operating conditions using simulation software like PSCAD, ETAP, and DIgSILENT. If you are passionate about contributing to the development of sustainable and efficient power systems, possess a strong technical background, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to explore this exciting opportunity with us at Accenture.,
