You should be a Senior Lead Engineer/Technical Lead Engineer with proficiency in ECAD platforms such as Capital Logic & Integrator, and familiarity with Capital Harness. Your role will involve extensive experience in designing circuit schematics and Engineering change management projects for Automotive applications, with a good understanding of connector inline topology and ground topology. Your responsibilities will include gathering, interpreting, and uploading Technical Customer Documentation (TCD's) into Electrical Database. You should have expertise in circuit simulation, load calculations, Voltage drop calculations, fault findings, and designing solutions for failures. Experience in various change management processes like Engineering Change Requests will be beneficial. Additionally, you will be responsible for cable definition, which includes assigning circuits, defining cable gauge, stranding, insulation type, and cable color. You should also have experience in implementing unique requirements for circuits to ensure the integrity of the signal, such as twisting, shielding, voltage rating, voltage drops, maximum resistance, and specifying insulation type for temperature and dynamics. Your role may also involve 2D/3D MACD bridge synchronization. Overall, as a Senior Lead Engineer/Technical Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing electrical systems for Automotive applications, ensuring functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.,

Experience: 4-8 years of relevant experience in Design & Developing automotive wiring harness Experience in Design and Development of Wiring Harness LV & HV Hands on Experience in Capital XC & Capital Logic Good knowledge in Electrical components, Architecture, and splice Balancing etc., Cross-functional experience in Design and program management will be an added advantage. Knowledge in Automotive Quality Systems (DFMEA, PPAP, DVP&R, etc...) Responsibilities (Not limited to) Good Knowledge in Create wiring harnesses 2D drawing using tools like Capital Logic, Capital Harness XC, CHS Modular strategy. Develop best practices, process flows, and documentation for harness design using Capital. Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to project requirements and standards. Support integration of Capital Harness with other systems such as PLM and CAD tools. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and vehicle/equipment wire harness architecture. Root cause analysis on issues reported from validation builds. Assist design engineers in using Capital tools efficiently for electrical/wire harness design and documentation. Validate 2D drawings based on Customer specific Requirement & Standards. Responsible to ensure parts / drawings match the models (Model is Master). Good knowledge in harness components like connectors, wires, relays, fuses & protections etc., Perform and resolve Design Rule Check errors. Support the design of wiring diagrams, schematics, and harness layouts using Capital tools. Validate harness designs for completeness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer standards Ensure data consistency between design outputs and manufacturing documentation. Responsible to ensure ECN/ECR/FETE are clearly written and meet all requirements. Confirm / understand / validate the change is necessary for the vehicle. Conduct FPSO (first piece sign off). Support vehicle/component DFMEA / DVP / Design Rule activity. Review and validate the supplier DFMEA and DVP. Identify and confirm related Vehicle Functions (VF) requirements are met. Support complexity chart (EEHD). Knowledge in any of the HV Harness Global Standards (ISO/SAE/ECE) must.

Role & responsibilities Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in wiring harness design, with at least 2 years working in electric vehicle or automotive design in Schematics.. Proven experience with the design and development of electrical systems and wiring harnesses for vehicles (Conventional or EV, Hybrid, PHEV, Commercial vehicle or passenger vehicle ). Ensure wiring harness designs comply with all relevant standards, regulations, and best practices, including ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 (Quality Management). Use advanced CAD software - Capital XC to design and model wiring harnesses, ensuring high-quality designs Resource Design: Expertise in wiring harness design and CAD tools mainly with Capital XC/CHS Strong knowledge of electrical components, connectors, and vehicle power distribution systems. Understanding of industry standards for electrical design (ISO 26262, UL, etc.). Proficiency in using simulation and analysis tools for electrical system performance (e.g., current, voltage, heat dissipation). Familiar with electrical concepts for wiring Routing, Schematics. Knowledge of automotive-grade materials and manufacturing processes related to wiring harnesses. Proficient on wiring creation, Able to select circuit IDs Able to calculate circuit gauges. Able to understand multiplexed logic Proficient on CHS, meaning that he knows how to perform the following processes: Schematic Generation following standards in Capital Logic Harness Generation on MOD XC Proficient on Chart and BOM creation Familiar with Deviations Familiar with IDD charting Able to create test cases to validate correct operation of Mechatronic features (DVP&R). Able to engage with different OEMs for wiring requirements Nice to have: Ability to update the global ECU parameters (domains/fragments) using ODX Studio. Ability to convert the supplier provided flash file into DT Ceasar files or SMR files using ODX Studio. Ability to release the ECU parameters, softwares etc., through EDLS Client. Ability to understand the feature needs and accomplish the feature using Flexible Logic Software for global ECUs. Ability to create CHEC parameters using CHEC/CHEC+ Ability to review the Diagnostic Link log files to determine the root cause of the ECU faults and parameter related issues. Knowledge on Diagnose Portal of ECU cdd, cbf etc., Experience with NX Proficient in using DOORS Next and reviewing the component specifications, feature specs, requirements etc.
