You will be responsible for ensuring Calderys Safety Protocols during work and possessing good knowledge of Hydraulics & Hydraulic Press Machine for repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of Utilities such as Boiler, Air Compressors, ETP & STP, DG Sets, pumps & Gear Boxes for repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Furthermore, you are expected to have expertise in Pneumatic equipment for maintenance & troubleshooting, tunnel dryers / Blowers/ Heat Mass Transfer, Fabrication Related Jobs including Arc Welding, Plasma Cutting, Gas Cutting, etc. You should also have the knowledge of Project Implementation, spare Part Management, and be accountable for maintaining Spare Parts Inventory & Timely ordering the spare parts using SAP. Your role will involve implementing Kaizen and 5S practices, managing daily maintenance department activities to ensure efficient resource utilization for meeting production targets, and planning and coordinating all Preventive Maintenance, planned maintenance activities, and breakdown activities in the plant. You will be required to take corrective actions to minimize repetitive breakdowns by reviewing Root Cause Analysis, maintaining IMS / ISO related documentation work, and sustaining 5S in the maintenance area. Additionally, you will be supporting all Capex & Opex Projects of the Plant and handling basic civil work activities for the plant. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 5 years of relevant experience or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6 to 7 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of SAP is mandatory for this role.,

Job Description: Chennai One IT SEZ is a 36,00,000 SF IT SEZ, which houses 45,000 IT employees and 5000 support staff. We are looking for a dynamic, hard working Engineer to lead the team of engineers on campus. He will be required to constantly asses the equipment, performance, check the preventive maintenance, suggest upgradation etc. Trouble shooting during a crisis and to be the point of contact for all things related to engineering services. What we do in Engineering services: The campus has 2 no's of 110 KV substation, it has an MV panel room in each building, it has raising mains that carry power to each floor. It has 4000 TR of air cooled chillers with corresponding pumps . It has AHUs on each floor. For Fire protection and water usage the campus has 3 lakhs litres of water storage. It has a system of under ground water storage and over head tanks. It has an integrated building management system to track power and water consumption. It has a network of CCTV cameras with night vision that record all events for 3 months. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance & Operations: Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems including HT/LT distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, and BMS systems. Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for breakdowns; ensure rapid resolutions and corrective actions. Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency measures (power factor correction, load balancing). Plan and supervise electrical projectsupgrades, expansions, relocations, integration of new systems (e.g., EV charging, renewable systems). Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and liaise with architects, IT teams, and contractors. Review contractor deliverables, ensure adherence to standards and specifications, conduct commissioning. Coordinate with vendors for service contracts (AMC), spare part procurement, and asset lifecycle planning. Track and manage inventory of critical spares; oversee maintenance shutdowns and CAPEX projects. CANDIDATE PREFERRENCE: Previously handled supervising and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors; allocate tasks and inspect work quality.
