As a SAP BTP CAPM Developer at Mouri Tech, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications on SAP BTP in the Cloud Foundry environment. Your role will involve developing side-by-side extensions using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) with Node.js or Java, along with SAPUI5/Fiori front-end and HANA Cloud backend. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust application solutions. Your involvement will span the full project lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and end-user support. Effective coordination and communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all phases will be essential. In terms of technical skills and experience, the ideal candidate should possess 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP development, particularly using CAPM with Node.js or Java. Proficiency in SAPUI5/Fiori development, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and REST/OData services (v2/v4) is required. Strong experience in CDS modeling, CAP annotations, and service definitions on HANA Cloud is essential. Experience in SAP HANA Cloud development, including SQLScript and multi-target application (MTA) deployments, is also expected. Familiarity with the BTP service architecture components such as XSUAA, App Router, Destination, Integration Suite, and Event Mesh is beneficial. Proven knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control using Git, and application lifecycle management is necessary for this role. Preferred or nice-to-have qualifications include experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP) in an S/4HANA context, exposure to ABAP in a cloud environment, or prior ABAP development background. Prior experience in planning and leading development efforts, architecture discussions, and UX extensibility strategy in S/4HANA is advantageous. Knowledge of microservices architecture and SaaS multi-tenant design will be an added asset in this role.
