We are seeking a skilled Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for developing and validating Battery Management System (BMS) models using MATLAB/Simulink, implementing Model-Based Design (MBD) methodologies, BMS Role.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES System Development: Lead the design, development, and integration of BCM systems. Ensure alignment with functional and performance requirements. Project Management: Plan, track, and deliver BCM projects within defined timelines and budgets. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on system architecture, design reviews, and technical problem-solving. Drive innovation and incorporate the latest technologies in BCM development. Testing and Validation: Oversee system-level testing and validation to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with automotive standards. Address issues identified during testing and implement effective solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and validation groups, to ensure system compatibility. Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to meet project objectives. Customer Focus: Understand customer requirements and ensure the BCM system aligns with their expectations. Manage change requests and deliver high-quality solutions. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards. Support audits and regulatory reviews as needed. Team Management: Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical and professional skills. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Role & responsibilities Experience in working with Automotive system like Bluetooth, Multimedia, Navigation, Telematics, Audio etc. (Infotainment and Cluster). Define system architecture and design system considering interfaces with sensors and actuators. Determine System requirements taking into consideration of both current and future system architectures. Define the performance requirements for the sensing system, establish feature model to operate with the sensor performance envelop. Sound knowledge of ECU internals HW architecture, SW architecture, Interface understanding. Should be able to perform Requirements Engineering. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, use cases, standards and procedures. Prior experience with requirements management tool such as DOORS/ DOORS NG Experience system Modules like Tuner, Audio, HMI, Media, USB, BT, Navi, Voice Recognition, Power Modes, etc. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, use cases, standards and procedures. Knowledge of vehicle electrical system and network architecture and vehicle functions . Knowledge of system and software test management methods and quality practices. Familiarity with tools such as Vector CANoe as well as ability to analyze and interpret test and diagnostic data from systems and vehicle. Ability to operate in project phases from planning to execution and reporting.
