Job Purpose As a part of the Electrical & Instrumentation group, your role involves developing and implementing new products for CNH Industrial's Construction equipment product line, ensuring competitiveness in cost, reliability, and timing within the industry. Key Responsibilities - Identify technological improvement opportunities within the Electrical/Electronic domain for Skid steers, Backhoe, Excavators, and compactor products. - Proficiency in understanding CAN communications based on SAE/ISO 1939 for all Control units and handling DTCs, CAN messages between VCM and Engine ECU. - Analyze CAN Logs for Electronic engines to troubleshoot root causes of issues in Electronic control units and vehicle control modules using CANalyser. - Conceptualize, develop, deploy, and monitor engineering changes to address current product issues and develop new products related to electrical and electronics systems of Skid loaders in line with organizational objectives. - Design calculations, selection, and validation tracking of electrical aggregates for new programs on the specified Product lines. - Develop electrical circuits for the designated product lines based on product requirements. - Support the development and testing of software and electrical components (such as switches, clusters, sensors, and relays) both on the bench and on the vehicle. - Define instrumentation functionalities, ergonomic layouts, and HMI; possess detailed technical knowledge of Relays, Diodes, Grounding, PCB-based relays, solenoids, etc. - Ability to analyze electrical schematics in CHS and create simulation models in CHS. - Support failure root cause analysis and resolution by conducting visits to the field, vendors, and assembly lines for electrical and electronic systems in new programs and existing products. Experience Required 8-14 Years of experience in the field of construction equipment preferred. Preferred Qualifications B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
