As a Tax Senior, you will have the exceptional opportunity to lead, work, and manage the full tax lifecycle process for large global corporate clients, enabling you to develop into a well-rounded tax professional. Your responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive understanding of clients" activities and addressing Canadian tax and tax accounting matters, assisting in global direct tax compliance by preparing income tax returns and workpapers, managing income tax provision preparation, forecasting taxes, handling tax account reconciliation, and overseeing various other tax-related functions. To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to work effectively and plan in ambiguous situations, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to foster high-functioning teams, articulate complex challenges, prioritize tasks efficiently, influence stakeholders, and maintain a positive attitude towards work challenges. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or MBA Finance, have three to five years of experience in Canadian tax compliance and income tax accounting, exhibit strong communication and computer skills, and show interest in learning about direct tax compliance in Canada and beyond. Ideally, you should also have awareness of other taxes in Canada and the ability to interpret and apply tax legislation.
