Senior System Analyst Job Summary As a Senior System Analyst, you will play a key role in eliciting requirements for product development and designing solutions that enhance and expand our products in alignment with customer, market, and business needs You will support FINEOS teams on all product-related matters, delivering high-quality, on-budget, fit-for-purpose solution designs This role requires a strong commercial and customer focus, along with a commitment to continuous improvement in product and market knowledge, Key Responsibilities Analyze customer and market requirements, identifying alignment with existing FINEOS core functionality or highlighting product gaps, Engage early with business sponsors to understand the value of product enhancements and contribute to high-level requirement definitions through research and exploration, Produce high-quality solution designs using artifacts such as screen mock-ups, scenarios, use cases, and user stories, including delivery estimates, Collaborate within a Scrum team (Product Owner, Engineers, Testers) in an Agile (SAFe) environment to deliver solutions that meet business needs, Define technical requirements, including data modeling and functional changes, to support construction and implementation, Ensure business, market, and architectural needs are clearly understood and met by the team, Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively, ensuring timely communication and resolution, Mentor and support other analysts, guiding feature development and influencing product direction, Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the FINEOS Product Suite across teams, Education & Experience Minimum 6 years of experience in the software industry, with at least 4 years in an analysis or client-facing role, Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into budget-conscious technical solutions, Experience in both greenfield projects and enhancement of existing solutions, Strong background in object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) using UML, Experience in full lifecycle requirements management, Degree in a business or IT-related discipline is desirable, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, Strong risk and issue management capabilities, Effective scope management, Knowledge of the financial services industry is a distinct advantage, Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is beneficial, Financial services experience or qualifications are desirable, Technical Skills Proficiency in tools such as Visual Paradigm, Balsamiq, MS Visio, Jira, etc Experience in software development (preferably web applications and Java) is an advantage, Knowledge of SQL and experience with platforms like SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, etc Familiarity with cloud computing, especially AWS, is a plus, Degree in an IT-related discipline is desirable, Language Skills Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, Travel Requirements Occasional ad hoc travel may be required,
