Role Overview

Camera Person cum Video Editor

Key Responsibilities :

A) Shooting

• Shoot automotive videos including:
  
• Walkarounds
  
• Feature explainers
  
• Studio/office-based content
  
• Event coverage (as assigned)
  
• Short-form content for social media
  
• Handle camera setup, framing, lighting, and audio basics.
  
• Work closely with anchors/correspondents and creative leads to plan shots.
  
• Ensure content is captured keeping platform requirements in mind (YouTube + Reels/Shorts).
  

B) Editing

• Edit long-form videos and short-form content with strong pacing and clarity.
  
• Add:
  
• Subtitles
  
• Motion graphics (basic to intermediate)
  
• Lower thirds
  
• Audio sync, cleanup, and basic sound design
  
• Deliver edits within tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  
• Create multiple cutdowns from a single shoot for different platforms.
  

C) Content & Workflow

• Contribute creative ideas for new formats and storytelling styles.
  
• Maintain footage libraries, naming conventions and basic project organization.
  
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals and final uploads handover.
  

Required Skills & Tools

• Strong hands-on experience in:
  

• DSLR/Mirrorless cameras

• Gimbal/handheld setups

• Basic lighting & audio

• Editing software proficiency:
  

• Adobe Premiere Pro

  (mandatory)

• After Effects

  (basic to good)

• Photoshop/Canva

  (bonus)
• Understanding of:
  

• YouTube storytelling

• Short-form trends (Reels/Shorts)

• Aspect ratios, codecs, export settings
