You are seeking a skilled VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Programmer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine programming and operation. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading technical drawings, tool selection, and generating accurate machining programs using software such as Fanuc, Siemens, or CAM tools like MasterCAM. Your responsibilities will include creating and optimizing VMC programs based on engineering drawings, selecting cutting tools and speeds, independently setting up and operating VMC machines, conducting trial runs, inspecting final components for quality, troubleshooting programming and machining issues, and maintaining production efficiency while collaborating with design and quality teams for continuous improvement. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma/ITI/BE in Mechanical/Production Engineering, have a minimum of 2 years of experience in VMC Programming, be proficient in G-code programming and CAM software, possess knowledge of machine controls like Fanuc and Siemens, be able to interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T symbols, have a good understanding of machining processes and materials, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates with exposure to multi-axis machining, batch production, job shop environments, or experience in quality-driven industries like automotive, aerospace, or tool & die are preferred.
