Ltd. is a Joint Venture between Zydus Healthcare Ltd., a leading Indian pharmaceutical company with a global presence, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals, the largest pharmaceutical company from Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing instrumentation and automation systems, including PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems, in a chemical or API manufacturing industry setting. Your key accountabilities will include leading troubleshooting and optimization of automated processes, driving projects related to automation upgrades and MES integration, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards, and providing technical support for automation-related issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safe and efficient production, manage spare parts and reliability initiatives, and oversee instrument selection, upgrades, and lifecycle management. To succeed in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge and experience in instrumentation aspects, automation systems, programming of PLC, DCS, and HMI systems, industrial communication protocols, process instrumentation, control loops, calibration practices, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in utilizing CMMS / SAP-PM systems for calibration and instrumentation data management, as well as working in a GMP environment, is essential. In addition to your technical expertise, strong collaboration, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external service providers. Understanding of electrical systems and manufacturing processes would be beneficial for this role.
