Job Description

As an RF Instruments-Calibration Engineer, your role involves developing and updating calibration methods, schedules, and documentation. You will be responsible for using tools to calibrate Vector Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Impedance Analyzer, Vector Signal Generators, and other RF measuring instruments. Ensuring adherence to standards (ISO 17025 equivalent) and audit readiness is crucial in your daily tasks. Additionally, you will perform calibration of RF/MW test and measurement products, diagnose and resolve deviations in equipment performance, and collaborate with QA, R&D, Sales & Service teams to align calibration with operational goals. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and updating calibration methods, schedules, and documentation - Calibrating Vector Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Impedance Analyzer, Vector Signal Generators, etc. - Ensuring adherence to standards and audit readiness - Performing calibration of RF/MW test and measurement products - Diagnosing and resolving deviations in equipment performance - Collaborating with cross-functional teams - Utilizing calibration management software to track systems and generate reports - Maintaining calibration records and documentation for audits - Optimizing processes and implementing new technologies - Maintaining detailed logs for audits and regulatory reviews - Working with R&D Engineer, faculties, and PhD scholars of IITs, NITs, and other colleges for calibration-related requirements in their research work Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum requirement of Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering - Minimum of 2 years of experience in RF Test & Measuring Instrument calibration - Good knowledge about Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, Software Defined Radio, Vector Signal Generators, and other RF measuring instruments - Familiarity with calibration procedure, equipment, and tools - Knowledge of calibration methodologies - Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and standards This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. You may also be eligible for a yearly bonus. The work location is in Chennai.,
