We are currently seeking for a talented Pipe Stress Engineer to work on a multi-discipline project team to analyze and review the ASME pressure parts and support associated with our Heat Recovery Steam Generators. Essential Responsibilities Perform flexibility analyses for piping systems to ensure stresses are within code allowable limits. Develop piping stress models which include all physical properties of the piping, its contents, and insulation. Locate and design pipe supports and restraints which maintain static equilibrium and minimize stress. Work directly with our design group to ensure the detailed support designs are created accurately and on schedule. Work directly with Piping Designers, Structural Engineers, Product Engineers, Project Engineers, Lead Designers, and others to ensure pipe routing and equipment access is optimized and that loads are properly addressed where piping interfaces with equipment or supports interface with the main structure. Use hand calculations, internal spreadsheets, programs, or other tools to determine or validate miscellaneous expansions, stresses, loads, and support designs. Perform dynamic analyses to determine loads originating from safety valve opening, steam turbine trip, or other dynamic events. Create specifications, lists, requisitions, and review quotes to support the procurement of pipe support material. Communicate and coordinate with VPI’s customer (or customer’s representative) to ensure VPI’s piping scope interfaces properly with the customer’s piping scope. About The Role We are looking for a proactive and experienced Tax Supervisor to lead a team within our U.S. Tax Compliance practice at RSM-USI. Assist with business development, tax issue recognition, extended service opportunities. Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards. Willingness to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven U.S. tax season environment. Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and tax technology tools. CTR team has expertise in design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations and Transport Planning. One of the major achievements of India CTR team has been the design of HS2 project in UK. This resulted in India team receiving many accolades from the contractor BBV and client HS2. CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. Preparation of Pipe wall thickness calculations including external pressure calculation, branch chart calculations and line blanks. Development of project standards, technical specifications for piping materials with minimum supervision. Preparation of Valve Material Specifications, Preparation of datasheets for all piping special items like special valves, strainers, traps, sight glass, bellows, hoses, etc. Preparation of RFQs for piping bulk items, valves, specialty items, etc Carrying out technical evaluation of vendor offers against RFQs for all piping material; preparation of both technical evaluation and commercial comparison; Preparation of technical bid study reports for valves, piping specialties, etc. Assisting in all interfacing, engineering, and construction groups in the area of piping material. Able to resolve all piping material related bottlenecks in project. Extraction and handling Piping MTO for the project.
