Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound Costing / Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing cost estimates, budgeting, and assisting in techno-commercial proposals for turnkey food processing projects. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in costing/estimation in manufacturing or capital goods industries. Key Responsibilities: Study project specifications, technical requirements, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates. Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and identify materials, bought-outs, fabrication, labour, and subcontracting costs. Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to gather inputs for estimation. Analyse customer RFQs (Request for Quotation) and generate detailed costing sheets. Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers to the sales team. Track costing vs. actuals post-order to improve future estimations. Update costing database and standard cost sheets regularly. Support in pricing strategies and margin calculation for competitive bidding. Participate in project review and kickoff meetings when required. Coordinate with vendors for outsourced job costing and rate validation.
