The Role As a Piping Stress Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc. Perform pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Conduct static and dynamic analysis of piping systems to evaluate performance under various operating conditions. Design and analyze piping support systems to ensure stability and integrity. Check nozzle loads to prevent mechanical failure and ensure safe operation. Transfer civil load data accurately for integration into piping designs. Prepare piping material specifications and ensure alignment with project standards. Conduct pipe thickness calculations to meet safety and regulatory requirements. About You To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes: Graduate degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Power, or Production Engineering. 8-15 years of relevant experience in piping stress engineering, preferably within a consultancy or EPC environment. Proficiency in CAESAR II software for pipe stress analysis. Strong understanding of piping support systems and load transfer principles. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities CAESAR II modelling Evaluate pipe flexibility and stress analysis. Measure the effects of support settlement, safety relief valves, seismic loads, thermal cycle loads and wind. Select proper springs for necessary support. Evaluate stress, Displacement, Forces, and moments on restraints for support design and evaluate piping loads within allowable nozzle loads. Job Requirements Perform the stress analysis of lines related to static and rotating equipment, air coolers, heaters, etc by using Caesar II software. Job Summary: Rishabh Engineering is looking for experienced Piping Stress Engineers to perform comprehensive stress analysis and provide technical support across piping systems in large-scale industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity and code compliance of piping systems, supporting the engineering team through all phases of design and execution. Key Responsibilities: Perform piping stress analysis using CAESAR II and other relevant tools in accordance with applicable codes (ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, etc.). Review and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, general arrangement drawings, and equipment data sheets. Identify critical lines and perform flexibility analysis, considering thermal expansion, seismic, wind, and dynamic loads. Provide support in selecting and designing piping supports, expansion loops, and spring hangers. Evaluate nozzle loads on rotating and static equipment and coordinate with Mechanical and Civil teams for resolution. Prepare stress analysis reports and recommend modifications where necessary. Review vendor documents and interface with suppliers on stress-related matters. Participate in model reviews and coordinate with 3D designers to ensure stress-related design criteria are implemented. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and best engineering practices. Provide technical mentoring to junior engineers and collaborate with global teams. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in CAESAR II (mandatory), with knowledge of other tools like AutoPIPE or Rohr2 considered an asset. Deep understanding of international design codes (ASME B31.3, B31.1, API 610/617, WRC 107/297, etc.). Experience with stress analysis of critical lines , nozzle load calculations, spring supports, and interaction with civil/structural. Ability to perform lift-off, slug flow, two-phase flow, PSV and relief line analysis . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret client specifications and incorporate stress requirements into design deliverables. Familiarity with 3D modeling software like CADWorx, SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) , or E3D for integration with piping layouts. Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 5 to 10 years of relevant piping stress engineering experience in EPC/EPCM projects. Prior experience working in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or power projects is preferred. Good communication and coordination skills to work in multi-disciplinary teams. Preferred Experience: Global project exposure, working with North American or Middle East client specifications. Familiarity with Indian and international regulatory requirements and standards. Experience in modularization or brownfield revamp projects is a plus.
