Role & responsibilities

Create and modify 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using
SolidWorks
.
Develop innovative product concepts and new designs in line with customer requirements.
Prepare fabrication, machining, sheet metal, and weldment drawings.
Generate and maintain Bills of Material (BOM) in drawings.
Perform basic engineering calculations to support design feasibility.
Ensure compliance with
GD&T, DFM, DFA
, and relevant manufacturing standards.
Maintain and update all design documents, drawings, and data on the product database.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver defect-free products to customers.
Support in preparing technical documents, reports, and presentations using MS Office.
Participate in reviews and continuous improvement activities to enhance design quality and efficiency.

Education:

Experience:

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and assembly design.
Familiarity with GD&T, DFM, and DFA practices.
Ability to interpret and convert drawings into finished products

Soft Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
