CAD Engineer - HV Products

As a Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CAD/CAM/CAE) professional at our organization, you will be responsible for documenting, illustrating, and digitally modeling engineering designs and processes. Your role will involve assessing engineering requirements and translating them into technical blueprints, drawings, layouts, and simulation models using CAD/CAM/CAE software. Additionally, you will customize CAD/CAM/CAE software to model complex designs and create digital prototypes for design simulations. Collaboration with product/manufacturing process engineers will be a key aspect of your job, as you recommend changes to component designs based on outcomes of digital prototyping and design simulations. You may also be required to provide materials lists and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in Autodesk Inventor, hold a Diploma or Graduation in Mech or EEE, and possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Conversance in generating 3D STP files from 2D drawings and vendor technical data sheets is also essential.
