The Nacelle Cooling and Conditioning (Department) is a part of the Nacelle Module, and we have sites in Denmark, Porto, and Chennai. The Module is responsible for the design and integrity of Vestas Next Generation Nacelles, and the Cooling and Conditioning sub-module is responsible for the Air cooling and Liquid cooling systems.
Responsibilities
- Adherence to Vestas safety culture.
- Adhere to Vestas values.
- Your tasks will vary in complexity and nature
- Understand cooling requirements to meet design and commercial needs
- Build models according to specifications
- Development of innovative solutions to improve the CaC performance, reliability and cost
Qualifications
- Master's / bachelor's in mechanical engineering / Structural Engineering / Aerospace/ similar fields
- CAD proficiency, especially CREO competencies
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in design & development of dynamic mechanical systems, CAD (CREO) & PDM (PDM Link) Engineering Change Management (ECM)
- Knowledge in ISO standards related to mechanical component design
- Systems engineering experience
