Job Description: CAD Draftsman (Furniture)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman with expertise in furniture design and drafting. The ideal candidate will have up to 3 years of experience in drafting furniture layouts and designs using CAD software. This position requires someone who can not only create detailed drawings but also edit and modify designs based on project requirements, client feedback, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Furniture Drafting & Design: Create detailed and accurate CAD drawings for furniture designs, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models, based on client specifications or existing templates.
• Design Modifications & Edits: Edit and update existing furniture designs and CAD drawings as per client or production requirements. Ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the final draft.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, material requirements, and production standards are met.
• Product Detailing: Provide detailed annotations, material specifications, and measurements for production and installation teams.
• Technical Drawing Standards: Ensure all designs meet industry standards for furniture design, including structural integrity, ergonomics, and aesthetic appeal.
• Quality Control: Review completed drawings for errors or inconsistencies before submission to clients or production teams.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their design needs and incorporate feedback into drafts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Up to 3 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry.
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant CAD software. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and ensure precision in all drafting work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
