CAD Designer Furniture Draftsman

Global Art Exports, a renowned manufacturer of top-notch custom furniture, is in search of a skilled and imaginative CAD Designer to be a part of our dynamic team and aid in the transformation of our furniture designs into reality. As a CAD Designer at Global Art Exports, your primary responsibilities will include creating and refining furniture design concepts using CAD software, translating initial sketches and conceptual designs into intricate 2D and 3D models, collaborating closely with our design and production teams to grasp design requirements, and preparing detailed blueprints along with assembly instructions and bills of materials. You will also be responsible for implementing design modifications based on feedback from the production team or clients, ensuring all designs conform to industry standards and company guidelines, managing a well-organized library of models and design documents, participating in project meetings to provide progress updates, and keeping abreast of the latest design trends, techniques, and CAD software advancements. To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience in the furniture industry, a minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Designer (preferably within the furniture sector), proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs, a solid understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials, keen attention to detail to visualize and develop complex designs, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, familiarity with safety and industry compliance regulations, and ideally, a degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field. This is a full-time position with a morning shift schedule, requiring a total work experience of 2 years.
