Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1-3 Years of good hands-on experience in using SolidWorks.
Should have a hands-on experience for Part modelling, Assembly, Drafting, DMU in SolidWorks.
Knowledge of GD&T is a must requirement.
Knowledge of sheet metal parts designing and casting model designing in SolidWorks is a must.
Knowledge of 2-wheeler plastic trims (Understanding of Rib Structure, Warpage control and shrinkage) and B-surfacing is an added advantage.
Must have a good understanding of tooling direction, draft analysis, DFM, DFMEA, etc.
Understanding of FEA analysis is an added advantage.
Must be able to design components as per manufacturing process and feasibility.
Must design and develop fixture and jigs for NPD and any other requirement.
Should have a knowledge of BOM creation, Change management and Version control.
Should have participated in SAE BAJA/Supra or any other relevant Design Engineering event.
