As a Solar Electrician (ITI), you will be responsible for installing and connecting solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related electrical systems. This will involve laying and terminating cables, installing conduits, and performing panel wiring. Additionally, you will conduct testing and commissioning of electrical connections in solar PV systems and diagnose faults to perform maintenance or repairs as needed. It is crucial to ensure proper grounding and surge protection for all systems. Collaboration with engineers and site supervisors is essential to execute installations as per design and layout plans. Adherence to safety standards and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during all site work are mandatory. Keeping accurate records of materials used and tasks completed is also a key aspect of the role.
