Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team at Pyramid E&C. The ideal candidate should have 10-20 years of experience in detailed instrumentation engineering and design for Oil & Gas EPC. Responsibilities: Preparation and review of instrumentation deliverables including P&IDs, instrument index, hook-ups, cable routing, JB layouts , and single-line diagrams . Preparation of instrument data sheets and specifications for field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level), control valves, and analyzers. Design and specification of DCS/PLC/SCADA-based control systems . Technical bid evaluation and vendor document review. Development and approval of installation drawings , MTOs , and equipment layouts in 2D/3D environment. Co-ordination with internal disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process) and vendors for alignment of design requirements. Participation in FAT, SAT, commissioning and plant start-up activities. Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards such as ISA, IEC, API, etc. Lead a team of instrumentation engineers, designers, and draughtsmen. Purpose & Scope of Position Engineering Manager (EM) is responsible for engineering and design matters on the project and assists the project manager. An EM will fill 3 main roles during the execution of a project. These are Manager, Technical Leader and Communicator. Candidate should have worked on earthing system design in accordance with IEEE 80 standard. Candidate have experience on working ETAP, CDEGS or equivalent software would be preferred. Candidate should have worked on DSLP (direct storke lightning protection) and lightning risk assessment in line with IEEE 998, Dr. Rezvig Method, IEC 62305 method. Candidate should have worked on auxiliary transformer sizing, DG sizing, battery and battery charger sizing, UPS sizing. Candidate should have knowledge of Protection coordination studies for Switchyard. Candidate should have worked on cable schedule, cable sizing calculation, interconnection schedule. Candidate should have experience of technical procurement support management including technical specifications, offer review, technical bid analysis, vendor document review. Candidate have worked on Owners Engineering on Substation projects shall be added advantage. Candidate have working experience on Solar PV Plant, wind farm, BESS, green hydrogen facility design shall be added advantage. Candidate should have worked on auxiliary power system SLD, load list preparations on Substation.
