Job Description Looking for an experienced Cabin Design Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in aircraft cabin systems design , with strong proficiency in CATIA V5 EHI . The ideal candidate will have a multidisciplinary background in architectural, civil, and electrical engineering , and will be responsible for the design and integration of electrical systems within aircraft cabin interiors and public works infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop cabin interior layouts , focusing on electrical harness installation using CATIA V5 EHI . Integrate electrical systems into cabin structures in compliance with aerospace and building standards. Create and manage 2D/3D CAD models , installation drawings , and schematics . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architectural , civil , and electrical engineering disciplines. Ensure compliance with aircraft cabin safety regulations , installation standards , and certification requirements . Participate in design reviews , technical documentation , and change management processes . Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Architectural Engineering , Civil Engineering , or a related field. 4 to 6 years of experience in cabin design , electrical systems installation , or public works infrastructure . Proficiency in CATIA V5 EHI and familiarity with aerospace design standards . Strong understanding of electrical routing , cabin integration , and installation constraints . Preferred Skills: Experience in aircraft interiors , transportation systems , or building services engineering . Knowledge of BIM , PLM systems , and regulatory compliance . Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Dear Candidate, We are looking for a candidate those who have very good exposure in Cabin Design in Plastic. Should be graduated in B.Tech/BE with 3-7 years of experience on Design & Development of Cab Structure and Trims components preferably of mobile CEs such as Wheeled Loaders, Backhoe Loaders and Excavators & tractors. Or Automotive with BIW & trims experience Role & responsibilities 1. Concept design and development of Cab systems/components 2. Create BOM, CAD Layout (Mechanism/Assembly arrangements) and Production Drawings for the Cab systems/components 3. Prepare Engineering Documentation & Change Notices and release into JCB PLM System 4. Co-ordination with Internal & External Customers/Vendors/Suppliers for execution of Project activities 5. Involvement in current product PCM, VA-VE, Service issues, proto machine development and drawing release. Candidate Profile 1. Should have a very good understanding of Cab systems / operator station component design and development 2. Should be capable of designing sheet metal parts, Plastic parts and integrating the parts/system within the vehicle layout ensuring form, fit and function. 3. Exposure to assembly & manufacturing techniques, and good understanding of Quality Processes for components and assemblies. 4. Should be able to support Prototype build activities on Projects undertaken. 5. Exposer to compliance requirements related to Cab design & development. Exposer to DVPSOR documentation related to Cab design 6. Exposer to Ergonomics analysis, HVAC systems, structural analysis and NVH analysis will be added advantage. Skill set 1. Proficiency in CAD tools preferably UG NX 2. System integration viz. selection/matching of components & systems 3. Exposure to DFMEA, Tolerance stack up, DFM-DFA, Space Claim Study, GD & T 4.
