What you’ll do

• Proofread and copy edit articles to ensure grammatical accuracy and adherence to AP style or the Chicago Manual of Style.
• Conduct thorough fact-checking to verify information and maintain credibility in all published content.
• Collaborate with writers to refine their work through constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Perform research on assigned topics to provide context and depth to articles, enhancing overall quality.
• Assist in proposal writing and technical writing projects as needed, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
• Utilize word processing software effectively to format documents and prepare them for publication.
• Engage in creative writing tasks that inspire innovative content ideas and approaches.

Basic qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in proofreading, copy editing, and editing techniques.
