As a Lead Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platform products, ultimately influencing the target state architecture across multiple domains. Your responsibilities will include representing a product family within technical governance bodies, providing feedback to enhance architecture governance practices, evaluating current and new technologies, offering technical guidance to support business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors, developing secure and high-quality production code, driving decisions impacting product design and technical processes, and serving as a subject matter expert in specific areas. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the engineering community by advocating firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices while promoting the use of leading-edge technologies and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect within the team. To qualify for this role, you should have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts along with at least 5 years of practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python, as well as a deep understanding of software architecture, applications, and technical processes, particularly in domains like cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile, is essential. You should possess the ability to independently tackle design and functionality challenges, practical experience in cloud-native environments, preferably AWS, and the capacity to assess and recommend emerging technologies for future architecture solutions. Preferred qualifications include a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, experience with modeling languages like UML or C4 model, and AWS certification.
