Position Title: General Medicine Physician (MD) Department: General Medicine Reporting To: Medical Director / Hospital Administrator Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and compassionate General Medicine MD Physician to join our healthcare team. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of adult medical conditions and providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient examinations and take detailed medical histories. Diagnose, manage, and treat common illnesses, chronic diseases, and acute conditions. Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments. Request and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and ECGs. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling to patients. Refer patients to specialists when advanced or specialized care is required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuous medical education activities. Ensure strict adherence to medical protocols, hospital policies, and ethical standards. Contribute to emergency care and handle critical cases if required. Qualifications: MBBS with MD in General Medicine (recognized by the Medical Council of India) Valid medical license/registration to practice Minimum [1] years of experience in clinical practice (can be adjusted as per need) Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills Good interpersonal and communication abilities Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus Salary: ₹80,000 TO 3,00,000 per month or as per hospital norms Preferred Skills: Ability to handle high patient volume Compassionate patient care Strong teamwork and leadership qualities Emergency management skills
