C++ / C / SQL Developer

As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst, you will play a key role in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. Your main responsibility will involve contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Your tasks will include conducting feasibility studies, providing time and cost estimates, participating in IT planning, assessing risk technology, developing models, and implementing new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Throughout the development process, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling all phases, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Furthermore, you will provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Your expertise in applications development will be essential for analyzing complex problems and evaluating business and system processes according to industry standards. You will be required to make evaluative judgments, recommend and develop security measures, and conduct post-implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality. Additionally, you will consult with users/clients and technology groups, provide recommendations for advanced programming solutions, and assist in the installation of customer exposure systems. Ensuring that essential procedures are followed, defining operating standards and processes, and acting as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts will be part of your responsibilities. Operating with autonomy, independence of judgment, and a limited level of direct supervision, you will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members. In your role, it is crucial to assess risks appropriately when making business decisions, with a focus on protecting Citigroup, its clients, and assets, as well as maintaining the firm's reputation. This involves driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policies, applying ethical judgment, and transparently managing and reporting control issues. Qualifications: - Knowledge of C++, C#, SQL is mandatory - Experience with Microsoft Technology is required - Hands-on experience in data analysis using Oracle SQL servers, with the ability to analyze rules data - Familiarity with products like GPP/GPP SP is an added advantage Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed, and additional job-related duties may be assigned as necessary.,
