Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central to lead the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions tailored to business needs. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Dynamics NAV/Business Central, a strong technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Development : Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions within Dynamics NAV/Business Central. Customize, extend, and integrate Dynamics NAV/Business Central using AL, C/AL, and extensions. Develop and maintain integrations with other business applications using APIs and middleware. Implementation and Support : Lead the end-to-end implementation of Dynamics NAV/Business Central projects. Provide technical support for system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. Optimize system performance and ensure seamless upgrades/migrations. Project Leadership : Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Mentor and guide junior developers and consultants. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Documentation and Training : Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user guides, and process flows. Conduct user training sessions to enhance system utilization. Stay Updated : Keep up with the latest updates in Dynamics NAV/Business Central and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary. Explore new features, tools, and best practices to improve system functionality. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Dynamics NAV/Business Central development and technical consulting. Proven track record of successful project implementations, upgrades, and migrations. Skills: Technical Expertise : Proficiency in AL and C/AL programming languages. Deep understanding of Dynamics NAV/Business Central architecture and customization. Experience with SQL Server, Power Platform, Azure, and third-party integrations. Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver practical solutions. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Tools & Technologies : Experience with Visual Studio Code, DevOps, and Git. Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI and Jet Reports is a plus. Show more Show less
