With a client-centric approach, we strive to exceed expectations and build lasting partnerships. Job Responsibilities Translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Create, maintain, and execute test plans for insurance modules and digital portals. Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing. Design and execute API tests using tools like Postman/Insomnia, validating payloads and schemas. Perform UI testing of web applications (React/Angular) across multiple browsers. Write clear, reproducible defect reports, verify fixes, and manage retests. Use SQL to validate data integrity, calculations, and workflow state transitions. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to test data management and environment readiness. Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on QA experience testing enterprise web applications. Strong test design skills with the ability to write detailed test cases and plans. Experience with API testing (REST/JSON; Postman/Insomnia) and basic automation. Working knowledge of SQL for back-end verification and data setup. Familiarity with Jira / Azure DevOps, SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD quality gates. Good understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP status codes, and common authentication flows. Proficiency in: API Testing Tools (Postman / Insomnia / Newman) SQL Databases (Postgres / MySQL / SQL Server) Web Technologies (REST/JSON, React/Angular) Defect Tracking (Jira / Azure DevOps) Version Control & CI (Git, CI tools) Preferred Skills (Optional but Beneficial) Prior experience working on Insurance / BFSI domain projects (Policy, Billing, Claims). Exposure to core insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar. Experience with browser automation tools (Playwright / Cypress / Selenium). Knowledge of API schema validation, contract testing, or performance testing. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Sample Deliverables You Will Own Master Test Plans and detailed Test Cases with traceability. API Test Collections (Postman/Newman) for regression. Defect Reports with complete reproduction steps and evidence. Daily/Weekly QA Status Reports and Release/Go-Live Smoke Checklists.
