Role Summary:The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, dispatch, receiving materials, and maintaining accurate records. The role ensures smooth coordination between sales, accounts, and logistics teams while maintaining safety, efficiency, and proper handling of goods. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Supervise loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of materials. Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders. Maintain proper labeling, storage, and segregation of materials. Monitor stock levels and ensure FIFO/LIFO methods are followed. Inventory Management Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software/manual registers. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system records. Track damaged, returned, or rejected goods and report promptly. Coordination Work closely with sales coordinators for dispatch planning. Coordinate with transporters for timely deliveries. Liaise with accounts for GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and dispatch documentation. Team Management Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and loaders. Assign daily tasks and monitor performance. Train staff on proper handling, storage, and safety practices. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Monitor proper use of equipment like forklifts, trolleys, and safety gear. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management. Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Good communication and coordination skills. Basic knowledge of ERP/Excel for stock management. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate/Diploma (preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field). 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in building materials/FMCG/trading. Experience handling bulky goods (panels, boards, or similar products) will be an added advantage.
