The Linear Financing desk within the Fixed Income- Global Financing & Credit Trading (GFCT) division focuses on providing share-backed financing solutions to various clients, including corporates, private equity funds, financial institutions, and HNI borrowers. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as deal selection, fundamental valuation of companies, financial and credit analysis, risk assessment, pricing, and developing trading strategies. You will also be involved in deal execution and management, including liaising with different departments for trade bookings, funding, and risk monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic and professional background, advanced analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior work experience in financial services, particularly with a buy-side perspective, and knowledge of equities/credit markets will be advantageous.
