Role Overview: As a Sewing Machine Operator, your main responsibility will be to perform alterations to existing patterns or create new ones as per the job requirements. You will be cutting, sewing, and gluing fabric to produce high-quality articles. Additionally, you will be responsible for affixing buttons, zippers, clasps, laces, and other fittings to complete the sewing projects. Key Responsibilities: - Decide on appropriate sewing techniques before starting work - Meet with consumers and inspect patterns to understand job requirements - Select suitable thread and place it onto the spool spin - Operate the sewing machine foot pedal and adjust stitch length and width regulators - Replace sewing machine needles as needed - Detect and repair basic faults with the sewing machine - Schedule repairs for the sewing machine and its fittings Qualifications Required: - 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sewing Machine Operator - Full-time job availability Additional Details: The company provides benefits such as health insurance and a provident fund.
