Responsibilities: Business Tabloid is a well-known, reputed global media house publication focused on delivering factual news on various sectors of business. With enlarging ambition and reach, we are looking for a passionate journalist who can join us on board to align with the daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be expected to write, edit and proofread articles, blog posts, and press releases on market trends as well as business sectors including real estate, banking, finance, technology and energy. The ideal candidate will need to possess a will to learn and adapt quickly to the nature of business reporting and be able to analyze data, news and trends, and develop original content. The candidate will report on the news on tight deadlines. The candidate will be responsible for covering important stories about companies of all sizes, government policies and technologies, and contributing multiple stories a week, all written with the right tone. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of language in news writing and is excited to be part of the dynamic sector. Please go through the following: * Write and publish multiple articles on a daily basis, ranging from quick to covering the latest on a breaking news event with photos . * Write daily and long-term stories, including reported pieces and detailed analyses for the news website and our weekly newsletter/reports . * Develop fresh angles and offer new insights for readers. Report news on tight deadlines, which includes making calls, asking tough questions, and aggressively pursuing a story when needed . *Call on various government agencies to get the appropriate information and news . * Stay on top of and follow up on current events coming out of business sectors. * Must be able to develop sources/relationships to call on for quotes and information. * Must be familiar with creating social media posts and ideas to boost engagement. * Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver fast, authoritative, and impactful coverage.
