The position of IT Product Owner at our organization involves acting as the primary liaison to Global Supply Chain leaders, utilizing in-depth knowledge of IT applications and tools to enhance the alignment between business processes and information technology. You will play a critical role in facilitating the optimization of business unit performance by providing support, analyzing improvements, and offering advice. As the IT Product Owner, your responsibilities will include solution identification and design, translating business requirements into technology roadmaps, and overseeing solution delivery for the assigned area. Your primary focus will be on shaping global business processes to align with leading practice capabilities, unless a competitive advantage is specifically required. You will be expected to navigate IT processes for the business, ensuring adherence to proper procedures while delivering business value through the utilization of best practices. Your functional and technical expertise should encompass Logistics and Warehouse management, as well as proficiency in at least one other business subprocess. Your key responsibilities will include being the primary liaison to business workstream leaders, defining solutions, addressing business objectives, and enabling the successful delivery of projects and applications. You will be expected to influence business Long-Term Planning with your technology acumen, formulate systems scope, estimates, and objectives for projects based on business needs and requirements, and collaborate with the Product Line Strategy Owner to develop IT Long-Term Plans in your area of expertise. Working closely with business leads, internal and external customers, vendors, and peer companies, you will research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to support our strategic initiatives. You may also take on the role of a project functional leader, team member, or IT Project Manager for various applications, technology projects, and strategic planning initiatives. Additionally, you will participate in project design reviews for large projects and actively seek opportunities for process improvement, challenging existing processes to streamline and optimize both business and IT processes effectively. The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 12 years of in-depth experience with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in more than one functional area. You should have been involved in a minimum of 3 full life-cycle implementations, preferably including at least one with global deployment. Experience with non-SAP distribution applications such as warehouse automation, voice picking, RF picking, and digital documentation is desirable. You should have a demonstrated ability to lead in the problem-solving process for projects and support, showcasing your strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset.,
