As a dedicated member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies upon receiving RFQs within the specified time frame. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, you will assist in preparing costings and updating BOMs. In addition, you will evaluate new components, materials, and technologies to assess their functionalities for upcoming product developments. Your role will involve developing comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates. Upon receiving ECNs from customers, you will review feasibility and update BOMs accordingly. Participation in CFT meetings for ECNs and monitoring WIP will be essential tasks. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in the business realization process for new parts of existing customers and acquiring business from new customers. Analyzing product costs and devising schedule plans for effective project implementation will be part of your routine. You will also play a key role in approving product designs, test plans, and prototypes, ensuring adherence to the company's quality standards. Your meticulous record-keeping skills will be put to good use as you document project proposals and associated activities. Striving for first-time-right products or parts, you will aim to eliminate rework, thus enhancing quality standards and reducing costs. Standardizing drawings where necessary and ensuring timely SAP input for part number creation will be critical aspects of your responsibilities. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while maintaining a focus on technical excellence, customer responsiveness, and innovative thinking will be essential. Effective communication with both your team and customers, along with quick resolution of design issues, will be vital for success in this role. Collaboration as an effective team player and proficiency in 3D Modelling Software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks are prerequisites.
