The role of Branch Head involves achieving sales targets, maintaining and increasing market share through incremental sales and new market development, and ensuring the highest level of service standards for channel partners and their customers at the branch level. As a Branch Head, your main responsibility will be to drive sales at a micro-level, achieve sales targets through market penetration, and enhance service standards to increase visibility and goodwill among channel partners and distributors, ultimately ensuring branch profitability. You will also need to identify and onboard untapped channel partners, as well as increase business output by addressing training needs effectively. You will face several challenges in this role, including retaining the mind share of top business partners in a competitive environment, addressing service issues resulting from poor infrastructure in upcountry markets (such as lack of awareness of internet/email and access issues through couriers), and ensuring sales against competitive products like insurance to generate greater revenue. Key Result Areas (KRAs) for this position include: 1. Achieving sales targets and increasing the market share of the branch compared to the industry by maximizing business in the allotted territory through distribution channels and onboarding untapped channel partners. 2. Managing and maximizing business from client relationships through prompt service by developing and maintaining relationships with retail clients in the assigned territory. 3. Identifying and engaging new distribution channel partners by developing new distributor relationships at the branch and activating these relationships with timely and relevant information. 4. Monitoring compliance to ensure high alignment with systems and practices by ensuring that all regulations and statutory compliances are complied with and assisting channel partners in adhering to compliances. 5. Overseeing branch administration and monitoring branch issues to facilitate the smooth delivery of services to clients, including managing branch imprest, administration, operations, and client servicing standards. 6. Providing relevant reports to management for the assigned territory by furnishing sales reports of the branch to the Cluster & Zonal Head. 7. Managing and monitoring team members for better productivity by facilitating regular training, guidance, and development, ensuring AMFI certification of team members, monitoring the performance of Relationship Managers (RMs) on a monthly basis, and taking corrective measures if achievement deviates from the required standards. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 3-8 years of experience and hold a graduate degree.,
