The SeniorSAP Offshore Support ServicesConsultant will be responsible for providing support for the existing content, setup, and configurations of the following systems: SAP Business Planning Consolidation (BPC)10.1 MS financial consolidation system. SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS)application. SQL Basis support for FIM, BPC, and related services. Roles Responsibilities: SAP Business Planning Consolidation (BPC): Provide user training and resolve data reconciliation tickets, offering detailed explanations of system setup to business users and the level 1 support team. Work on resolving application bugs in the BPC system based on agreed priority, including implementation, testing, and go-live of support fixes. Coordinate with level 1 support teams, Infrastructure teams, and SAP OSS for the resolution of product bugs. Conduct monthly backups of the BPC 10.1 financial consolidation environment/application set (PRD). Perform backup restoration tests once during the term, assuming additional hardware is provided. Collaborate with in-house level 1 support team and offsite support consultant to resolve integration-specific support issues. Address product issues related to SAP FIM by raising SAP OSS Notes when necessary. Conduct knowledge transfer of support issue resolution to level 1 support team. Investigate and correct defects in the BPC MS 10 financial consolidation systems as reported by the Level 1 team. Assist team in recording/registering customer messages with SAP OSS. Prepare estimates for enhancements to the existing BPC MS 10.1 financial consolidation system. Maintain detailed records/logs of system maintenance activities. Create Technical Design Specification documentation (TDS) for continuous improvements and assist with Functional Design Specification (FDS) documentation as required. Update TDS documentation for regular support issues and update FDS documents in consultation with the level 1 support team when necessary. Address technical clarifications/queries related to specific scenarios/issues. Support the integration of the SAP BPC financial consolidation system and existing source systems in SAP FIM 10.0. SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS): Resolve data reconciliation tickets, providing system setup explanations to business users and the level 1 support team. Check and validate data flows, backend jobs, global variables, and tables linked to jobs, and communicate findings to the level 1 support team. Address existing technical structures (jobs)/interfaces related to specific scenarios/issues in BPC, FIM Oracle. SQL Basis: Monitor FIM and BPC URLs. Ensure CMS connectivity for BPC. Verify connectivity between FIM and BPC. Check source and target connections in FIM. Perform database backups as per requirements. Shrink log files of SQL databases in case of size increase. Address SIA (Server Intelligent Agent) issues when the LDAP service is updated, requiring the restart of SIA, FIM, and BPC services for smooth access. Monitor the status of servers in CMC, APS (Adaptive Processing Server), and LDAP updates in CMC. Provide FIM administration support, excluding maintenance procedures like patching of FIM.
