Business Management Senior Analyst

As a Business Management Senior Analyst at Deutsche Bank, your role is to design and deliver critical senior management dashboards and analytics using tools such as Excel and SQL. These management packs will enable senior management to make timely decisions and create a strong foundation for analytics. You will collaborate closely with senior business managers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into visually appealing dashboards and reports. Your analysis of business data will provide valuable insights for strategic ad hoc exercises. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with business users and managers to gather requirements and understand business needs for designing optimal solutions. - Conduct ad hoc data analysis to generate reports, visualizations, and presentations for strategic decision-making. - Source information from multiple channels, build a robust data pipeline model, and work on large and complex data sets to derive valuable insights. - Perform audit checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy before implementing findings, ensuring timely refresh for up-to-date information in dashboards/reports. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data insights. - Communicate project status updates and recommendations effectively. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in visual reporting development, including hands-on development of analytics dashboards and working with complex data sets. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills. - Comprehensive understanding of data visualization best practices. - Experience with data analysis, modeling, and ETL processes is advantageous. - Strong knowledge of database concepts and extensive hands-on experience with SQL. - Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Attention to detail, ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and writing skills.
