About the Fund: Cornerstone Ventures is a leading Enterprise Tech focused VC Fund investing in emerging growth stage companies developing innovations for Enterprises & SMEs. The Fund-I had a corpus of US$50 mn Fund and has invested in ~20 Enterprise SaaS companies in India, US and SEA across fintech, retail-tech, logistics, healthcare, etc. The Fund II has a target corpus of ~$200 mn and investing in growth stage enterprise tech companies. Role: We are looking for an Analyst and/or Associate to join our Investment & Portfolio Management team. The candidate will assist in end-to-end investment process for new investments and in managing the existing investments of the Fund. Key Responsibilities: - Deal sourcing and evaluation for new investment opportunities. - Scout for new opportunities and research about new innovations across various sectors. - Track, manage, drive, and enhance incoming deal-flow. - Continuous engagement with Founders of Portfolio companies to help them with strategic decisioning and enabling growth. - Execute on growth initiatives planned for portfolio companies. - Monitoring monthly performance and building performance metrics for portfolio companies. - Monitoring market developments & competitive landscaping. - Build strategies for exit of investments. Ideal Qualifications: - MBA from top tier / leading institutes (India / abroad). - Formal education in tech. / tech-enabled models is preferred. - Prior experience of transaction closures in PE / VC Fund required (for Associate). - Min. 3 years relevant work experience post-MBA in relevant fields of PE / VC, Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking (top Tier firms) in India/global. - Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders across leadership teams / CXOs / Founding teams. - Good exposure to the Startup Ecosystem in India and tech-led innovations / investments / business model innovation. Personal Attributes: - Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis. - Ability to partner with multiple teams to understand business issues, execution priorities and marketing strategies. - Proactiveness to identify areas of improvement, designing solutions and implement them on the ground. - Capable of managing Senior Management/CXO/Founder level communications and presentations. - Ability to tie analytic solutions to business/industry value and outcomes. - Should possess sharp, logical and analytical thinking. - Should possess exceptional written and oral communication skills (including high-end presentation skills). - Should be self-motivated and driven with a high degree of professionalism to work in a small and fast-growing set-up. - Ability to work in a time-line driven environment. - Should possess excellent people management skills including mentoring and coaching. - Should be hands-on with exceptional execution/delivery capabilities.,
