The ARCADE (Amazon Retail Customer Data Engineering) Science and Analytics team needs a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to drive our analytical solutions. This team supports Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), Amazon Supply Chain Solutions (ASCS), and Buy with Prime (BwP) businesses. We seek a BIE who will identify business opportunities through data-driven insights, create predictive models for supply chain optimization, and analyze customer behavior patterns.The ideal candidate will build and deploy analytical solutions at scale while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You should have statistical analysis expertise, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience with data visualization. Your technical skills should be complemented by a strong understanding of business metrics and KPIs.Industry experience in eCommerce, transportation, finance, retail technology, or logistics is preferred. - 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
