About the Role

• Good know-how of QlikView, so that the resource can at least understand the nuances of the data model in place, set analysis implemented, etc. to have a better understanding on the business rules implemented
• Intermediate to expert experience in Power Bi, as our client is becoming too Fabric savvy right now and they would expect advanced features in Power BI.
• An understanding of clinical trials business is a higher priority as compared healthcare in general. This is needed to give confidence to the stakeholders that we understand their business and pain points, to connect the dots between data and visualization.
• This requires the candidate to have good experience in SQL, to play around with the datasets and iron out any data gaps being pointed out.
• We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to support the migration from QlikView to Power BI while ensuring continuity of existing QlikView environments. The role requires expertise in QlikView administration and report development, as well as hands-on knowledge of Power BI for building modern dashboards, integrating data, and ensuring seamless transition. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining QlikView reports, and enabling Power BI adoption within the organization.
• Key Responsibilities
• Migration of QlikView dashboards and reports to Power BI, ensuring functional parity and optimization.
• Maintain lights on support for QlikView including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, validate KPIs, and map QlikView reports to Power BI dashboards.
• Provide production support for QlikView environments and address report-related issues.
• Work with data engineering teams to ensure data pipelines and models support Power BI dashboards.
• Ensure proper documentation, version control, and governance of migrated reports.
• Assist in training business users on Power BI capabilities and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for report rationalization and optimization during migration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
• Strong expertise in QlikView report development, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard design, data modeling, DAX, Power Query.
• Experience in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) for backend queries and data integration.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues in BI reporting systems quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business teams.
