Business Development Manager – Security, Facility Management & Manpower Services

Role Objective

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting private-sector business opportunities across Madhya Pradesh for Security Services, Housekeeping, Facility Management, and Manpower Outsourcing.

The role will focus on building a strong sales pipeline, developing relationships with decision-makers, conducting client meetings, pitching solutions, following up on opportunities, and closing profitable business.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential private-sector clients across Madhya Pradesh.
• Generate new leads through market research, references, networking, calling, field visits, and industry contacts.
• Identify key decision-makers including Admin Heads, HR Heads, Facility Managers, Security Heads, Plant Heads, Procurement Heads, and senior management.
• Make cold calls and warm calls to prospective clients.
• Schedule and conduct client meetings.
• Visit factories, industrial units, warehouses, hospitals, corporate offices, educational institutions, hotels, malls, and other potential client locations.
• Understand client requirements for Security Guards, Housekeeping Staff, Facility Support, and General Manpower.
• Pitch the company’s services and value proposition professionally.
• Coordinate site surveys and requirement assessments.
• Prepare and coordinate commercial and technical proposals with the internal team.
• Follow up on submitted proposals and active opportunities.
• Handle client objections and support commercial negotiations.
• Work towards closing new business and achieving manpower deployment targets.
• Maintain and regularly update the sales pipeline / CRM.
• Build long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Generate referrals and cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop market intelligence regarding new projects, expansions, vendor changes, and contract renewal opportunities.
• Build and guide a lean business development team using interns and existing staff.
• Assign targets and tasks to Business Development Interns and Field BD Interns.
• Review calling, lead generation, field visits, meetings, proposals, and follow-ups.
• Submit weekly business development reports to management.

Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of relevant business development / sales experience in any of the following industries:

• Security Services
• Facility Management
• Housekeeping Services
• Manpower Outsourcing
• Staffing Services
• Contract Labour / Workforce Solutions
• Integrated Facility Management

Candidates with existing relationships in manufacturing, industrial, warehousing, hospitals, corporate, pharma, logistics, or institutional sectors will be preferred.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline is mandatory.
• MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, HR, or Business Development will be preferred.
• Candidates with strong relevant industry experience may also be considered based on practical capability.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, email, CRM, WhatsApp Business, and basic digital research.
• Ability to manage and guide interns / junior BD staff.
• Strong reporting and pipeline management discipline.
