Tech in ESG is a client-facing service offering that focuses on advising and partnering with corporates in their decarbonization journey. The role involves working on various technology aspects in the ESG space, including IT landscape assessments, digital strategy development, project management, energy optimization, and engagement with industry 4.0 technologies for data collection and transmission. Additionally, responsibilities may extend to marketing tasks such as responding to RFPs, creating thought leadership content, and more. Key skills required for this role include excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, the ability to understand business challenges, innovate solutions, and manage end-to-end project and program delivery. Candidates should have 4 to 6 years of techno-functional hands-on experience in ESG-Tech, with a strong understanding of Information Technology business, synergies between technology and ESG, ESG frameworks, energy monitoring and optimization techniques, and current tech trends in the ESG space. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of IT and its role in enabling ESG and growth, along with experience in delivering engagements focusing on technology in ESG. Familiarity with governance and support models, outsourcing models, IT operating models, financial management, and delivery models is advantageous. Prior consulting experience will be beneficial for this role. In addition to technical skills, candidates should demonstrate flexibility for travel, the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and seniors, and strong oral and written communication skills. Visualization skills, critical problem-solving abilities, and core consulting skills are also essential for success in this role. Candidates with a BE/B.
