Business Analyst- P&C Insurance + Data

As a Business Analyst specializing in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, you will play a crucial role within the general insurance industry, particularly in specialty commercial and London markets. With a minimum of 4 years of experience in this field, your expertise in P&C Insurance, SQL, Finance, and Commercial Lines of Business (LOB) will be essential. Your responsibilities will include producing technical requirements such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) or user stories, requirements catalogues, process flows (Levels 1 to 4), as well as conducting gap analysis and impact assessment documents. Your strong domain knowledge of Finance, underwriting, and reinsurance will be highly advantageous in this role. Your ability to create clear and concise business level definitions through diagrams and written formats will be crucial. Experience in process mapping (current and future state), development of data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and other Unified Modeling Language (UML) techniques will be expected. In addition, you should have a good understanding of the regulatory landscape in which insurance companies operate. Collaboration skills are essential as you will be required to work effectively in Agile cross-functional teams, assisting team members in developing Business Analysis skills. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you navigate the data warehouse development cycle and address challenges related to data quality. Proficiency in data tools like SQL and SSRS is highly desirable, along with prior Business Intelligence (BI) development experience, including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and reporting. Excellent communication skills are a must-have, enabling you to quickly establish rapport with both business and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) at all levels. Your strong presence and ability to engage with individuals of varying seniority within client organizations will be key to your success in this role. This position is based in Greater Noida, Hyderabad, or Pune, with a hybrid work mode from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Candidates available to join immediately are preferred.
