Job Title: Practice Lead / Senior Consultant Intelligent Process Automation (RPA & DPA)

Role Overview:

The Practice Lead Intelligent Process Automation is a senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end process automation initiatives across multiple platforms including UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform. The role combines presales, solution consulting, project delivery management, and practice leadership responsibilities. You will work closely with clients, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, define solution approaches, and ensure successful delivery of automation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Presales & Solution Consulting

Engage with customers to understand business processes, pain points, and automation opportunities.

Lead client discussions, requirement discovery workshops, and process walkthroughs.

Create proposals, estimations, and solution decks for automation engagements.

Participate in proposal defence presentations, client pitches, and RFP/RFI responses.

Collaborate with technical architects and CoE teams to define scalable and reusable automation solutions.

Prepare & maintain sales collaterals, case studies, show & tells etc.

2. Business Analysis & Solution Design

Conduct AS-IS and TO-BE process analysis and create detailed Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).

Work with business users to finalize requirements and translate them into automation design specifications.

Support functional and user acceptance testing phases by preparing test scenarios, test data, and validation scripts.

Drive process re-engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency before automation.

3. Project & Change Management

Act as Project Manager cum Change Manager for automation programs ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

Track project deliverables, developer progress, costing and milestones through tools like ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.

Manage issue logs, access requests, and service tickets through ServiceNow or equivalent systems.

Ensure compliance with governance, documentation, and version control standards.

Conduct regular status reviews, risk assessments, and stakeholder updates.

4. Practice Leadership & People Management

Lead the UiPath Practice, managing a cross-functional team of Developers, Business Analysts, and Testers.

Leading show & tells, work on enhancing partnership with product vendors.

Drive hiring, interviews, onboarding, and performance appraisals within the automation team.

Establish training programs, skill enhancement sessions, and internal certifications for team members.

Define best practices, templates, reusable components, and delivery standards across automation projects.

Act as a thought leader representing the practice in client and partner interactions.

5. Technology Expertise

Deep functional and working expertise in UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Insights, Action Center).

Power Platform Expertise - Deep hands-on experience with Power Apps(Canvas & Model Driven), Power Pages, Power Automate(Cloud & Desktop RPA), Power Platform CoE Tool Kit, Power BI and Dataverse.

Integration Knowledge - Proficiency with REST APIs, Custom connectors, Azure Logic Apps and other integration patterns.

Azure Services - Familiarity with relevant Azure Services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Vnet, App Services.

AI Knowledge - Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Chat Bot, AI Builders, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Open AI for effective usage of AI capabilities across Power Platform.

DevOps & ALM - Experience with Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps, GitHub and deployments using CI/CD pipelines, Power Platform Pipelines, Manual Export & Import.

Familiarity with Automation Anywhere or other RPA/DPA tools is an added advantage.

Awareness of Process Mining, Task Mining, and AI-powered automation capabilities.

Understanding of API-based automation, integrations, and data exchange between systems.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong experience in RPA lifecycle Discovery, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, and Support.

Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to lead presales efforts and convert opportunities into successful automation projects.

Strong analytical and documentation capabilities.

Leadership and people management experience, mentoring and guiding large automation teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

UiPath certifications (e.g., UiPath Advanced Developer, UiPath Solution Architect) preferred.

Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400) are an added advantage.

CSM, PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Project Management certification is desirable.
