Support month-end and quarter-end book closure activities through root cause analysis, data validation, and exception handling coordination.
Document workflows, reconciliation logic, data dependencies, and ensure traceability from transaction to ledger.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBIP) is a plus.
7+ years of experience in business analysis roles focused on data reconciliation, finance operations, or ERP systems.
Strong understanding of Oracle GL or other enterprise financial systems.
Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality concepts.
Ability to work with SQL to extract and validate data from source systems and support investigations.
Experience working with data engineering or BI teams to troubleshoot upstream data issues.
Proven ability to document, communicate, and follow through on complex reconciliation and remediation efforts.
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across finance, technology, and operations teams.
Experience in month-end book closure, financial reporting cycles, or audit compliance environments
