Advanced Business Analyst with functional testing skills The Impact: As an Advanced Business Analyst, you will: Work directly with business partners and technical teams to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Analyze and document current state and future state requirements. Create workflows, use cases, business rules, data requirements and systems requirements in various forms and will create epics, user stories with acceptance criteria that accurately represent the use cases and outcomes. Work with business partners to educate, train, and communicate change across our organization. Use technical skills to build reports, dashboards, and metrics as needed and support production support research. Work closely with developers and testers to communicate and clarify requirements (user stories and other documentation) to facilitate efficient development and testing. Support the design, build, test and deployment of the solution. Manage the Sprint backlog/Kanban board Facilitate various Agile ceremonies Review test strategy/cases In some cases, you should also be able to independently fulfil the role of a Functional Tester. As a Functional Tester, you will: be responsible for handling the projects individually and performing Smoke, functional & regression testing of any given application or functionality. ensure that the application or functionality is fully tested and is working as per Business requirements, results are validated, reviewed with business SMEs or Product Owners, and signed off before migrated to production. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree 5+ years of experience in a business analysis role deploying technical capabilities across the enterprise and 3+ years of experience in functional testing and in preparing all the testing artifacts 3+ year of Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience specifically in User Story/Acceptance criteria development with supporting documentation such as workflows, data dictionary, API data requirements 4+ years of experience in integrating Vendor and Client applications using business rules built into orchestration systems 1+ year of experience with Jira software to create epics/user stories, and to plan and organize tasks for Agile team members 1+ years' experience with Splunk or similar SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) data source including the ability to write queries, correlate data, and research outcomes using JSON data structures 2+ years' experience supporting test teams to create and correlate test data, support defect debugging, execute and validate test scenarios and cases Good knowledge on testing techniques and help implement effective solutions to the testing activities Exhibit leadership competencies Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and presentation skills Ability to facilitate and drive business use case discussions for small-medium scale projects Take ownership of problems and stay on top of them until resolved Ideal Qualifications Prior insurance background 1+ year experience working on logging and monitoring, call center or digital applications with security focus 1+ year experience with customer identity proofing or authentication solutions from third-party vendors Experience with querying databases and SQL Experience with extracting and analyzing the data Prior exposure to data mining/mapping Able to work independently. Experience with agile project delivery process. Able to troubleshoot problem areas and identify data gaps and issues. Ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes. Ability to adapt to fast changing environment
