Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and proactive BusTransport Supervisor with 2–5 years of experience in Bus transport and fleet operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily transportation activities, ensure route efficiency, manage scheduling, and coordinate with internal departments for smooth operational flow. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to maintain safe, reliable, and compliant transport services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and optimize daily & weekly bus routes for timely pickup and drop services.
• Plan and manage shift-wise transportation schedules for staff/operations.
• Monitor vehicle movement to ensure punctuality, safety, and compliance with transport guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of trip sheets, mileage, fuel logs, and driver attendance.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly transport performance reports to management.
• Coordinate with drivers, conductors, mechanics, and transport contractors for vehicle readiness.
• Communicate regularly with department heads to ensure seamless transport operations.
• Manage emergency situations such as breakdowns, route deviations, or delays by arranging alternatives.
• Ensure timely servicing, maintenance, and cleanliness of vehicles.
• Monitor driver behavior, conduct, and adherence to company rules, safety standards, and traffic laws.
• Ensure availability of transport passes, permits, and statutory compliance documents.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in any discipline; knowledge of basic computer applications (MS Office)
• 2–3 years of experience in transport operations supervision (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good route planning and operational handling skills
• Ability to manage multiple shifts and handle pressure situations
• Knowledge of transport safety, vehicle compliance, and statutory requirements preferred
